Customer Reviews

Gen 4

I really enjoy this camera. I am using it to capture hunting videos from a helicopter and even with the distance and all the movement, the videos are crystal clear. The videos are big hits on my socials.

First time owner

Just picked one up for dove season. Taking it out this weekend for the first time. Did a little practicing and the videos look awesome. Cannot wait to capture some great footage.

Great camera

It's a great camera. That's all there is to it. I don't fuss with it much and I don't do social media. If you just want to record your videos and get better, it's simple to use.

      Amazing

Very happy. I think I've got everyone at my club hooked on ShotKam. It was a little tricky to set up with my old phone but once I got something newer, it worked flawlessly.

      Great product, better service

Big fan of ShotKam and their customer service. I've owned quite a few gun camera over the years. Some were cheaper, offered some different features, but one thing was always the same - the service after sale was awful. Sometimes the company didn't even stick around long enough to help if you had an issue. They were out of business in a year. Not ShotKam. I've owned cameras from them since Gen 2 and their customer service is always helpful and available. This isn't some outfit in the Philippines either, this is folks right down in Florida. I learned my lesson years ago, go with the company that cares, not the one in it to make a quick buck.

Great Tool if to Analyze Hits and Misses

I bought one a couple months ago. It is continuing to help. But I spend a significant amount of time after an outing viewing and analyzing the videos. I actually plot every Hit and every miss in relation to the position of my crosshair. I also note the severity of the crossings, quarterings, speed and height of the target. I focus a lot on where my hold point was, how I followed the clay and if I drove through the shot as I pulled the trigger. Also, I pay attention to what happened to my mount after I shot and if I quickly dropped the gun or not. In summary, the ShotKam provided me a great deal of help because I worked hard analyzing my outings (Trap and sporting clays) afterwards. This told me what to do and try when I went out the next time.
